What is System Restore point

As I have described in my last post about Creating A Restore Point in Windows 7.  System Restore is a feature in Microsoft Windows that allows the user to revert their computer’s settings to a previous point in time. It helps you to change your computer’s system files (including system files, installed applications, Windows Registry, and system settings) to an earlier point in time. It’s a way to undo system changes to your computer without affecting your personal files, such as e‑mail, documents, or photos.
